Summer is a great time to get in the swing of America’s fastest-growing sport. Pelham Parks & Recreation will offer a clinic on July 20th with three different sessions for those who have never played the sport and those who want to sharpen their skills.
The Advanced Clinic will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Pelham Recreation Center. It is recommended for people who have played pickleball for at least six months. Participants will learn more challenging patterns, different types of volleys, and how to serve the ball better.
There are two beginner clinics: one from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and the other from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Beginner Clinic teaches the four basic shots to play pickleball: drive, volley, serve, and dinking. Beginners will also explore the basics of court coverage and different playing patterns.
This clinic is an excellent opportunity to gain new skills and have fun! The clinic is for people ages 16 and over and is $18 per person. Space is limited, so please sign up on the Pelham Parks & Recreation website today.
