Lace up your skates and hit the ice! The Pelham Civic Complex is kicking off a brand-new Learn to Skate session on August 25, offering eight weeks of professional instruction for skaters of all ages and skill levels.
For $160, participants receive:
- Eight weeks of instruction
- Skate rental for class time
- One free public skating pass each week to practice skills (skate rental not included for public sessions)
Flexible Class Options
Learn to Skate classes are designed for every age group and schedule:
- Mondays: 5:30–6:30 p.m. (Youth/Regular) or 6:30–7:30 p.m. (Adult)
- Saturdays: 10:00–11:00 a.m. (Youth/Regular)
- Wednesdays: 10:30–11:30 a.m. (Homeschool)
Each class includes 30 minutes of instruction followed by 30 minutes of practice time, with levels ranging from Snowplow Sam 1–4 to Freestyle 6. Younger beginners (Snowplow Sam and Basic 1–3) will receive focused, foundational instruction before transitioning to practice time.
